The Creative Industries Production Operative card is available for those working in a supervised role or as part of a team in the creative and AV industry to support the build, installation, and maintenance of AV and lighting systems. The person is qualified at a technical Level 2 or above in creative venue and live events but has not yet achieved vocational assessments, apprenticeship or equivalent.
Eligibility and requirements
To be eligible for the Creative Industries Production Operative ECS card, applicants must:
1. Have successfully completed one of the following:
- Level 2 Certificate in Technical Theatre Support Sound, Light and Stage
- Level 3 Certificate in Technical Theatre: Sound, Light and Stage
- Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Music Technology
- Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Sound Engineering
- Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Digital Music Production
- T Level in Media, Broadcast and Production
- ABTT Bronze Award Course
