A Smart Home Technician is qualified to a level 3 occupational standard in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining residential entertainment and control systems. A Smart Home Technician delivers a simple, secure, reliable, and sustainable user experience according to industry best practices and within project timelines and scope for various digital home technologies, including audio, video, home cinema, security systems, , window blinds, doors, and gates.
To be eligible for the Smart Home Technician ECS card, applicants must:
1. Must have successfully completed a Level 3 apprenticeship standard or equivalent, such as the Level 3 Smart Homes Technician apprenticeship
