ECS has been shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards. At the Fire & Security Matters (FSM) Awards, taking place on 12 June at the CBS Arena in Coventry, ECS is nominated alongside BPEC in the ‘Security Innovation of the Year’ category for their work on the FESS Experienced Worker Assessment.
At the Enginuity Skills Awards, taking place at Birmingham Hilton Metropole on 5 June, ECS is nominated alongside ZZEUS Training in the Training Partner for Skills category. The partnership, formed in 2022 to provide a route for experienced workers in the fire system sector to meet post-Grenfell competence recommendations. It has successfully provided meaningful qualifications, including learners completing the NVQ and gaining industry recognition.
Andy Reakes, JIB and ECS Director of Growth and Development, explained: “These nominations are a tremendous recognition for the joint industry work across the Fire, Emergency, and Security Systems sector in recent years to provide flexible and pragmatic ways to evidence the level of competency in the FESS sector.”
